What is HR Transformation?

The HR Transformation Directorat is the Centre of Excellence for HR across the Civil Service and we are based in the Civil Service Capability Group (CSCG) within the Cabinet Office. Our aim is to accelerate Human Resources (HR) transformation and improve people management across the Civil Service leading to more effective and efficient business delivery and public services.

Professional Skills for Government (PSG) which was launched in September 2005, has been designed to provide a clear outline of the requirements and skills expected of all civil servants at specific career points.
